Vijay’s ‘Sura’ has kept everyone electrified on high-spiritedness as it happens to be his 50th film. The film’s audio launch is slated to take place this evening and we bring you the first exclusive look on the audio listing of ‘Sura’ that has a musical score by Mani Sharma.

The album opens with ‘Thanjavoor Jilla Kaari’ that has Hemachandra and Saindhavi on tracks is penned by Na. Muthukumar. Mani Sharma has exactly replicated song ‘Bommali’ in his Telugu album ‘Billa’ that was again crooned by Hemachandra with a different female singer Malavika…

‘Vetri Kodi Yettru’ is a provocative message oriented song penned by director S.P. Rajkumar with Ranjith and Mukesh [^] rendering their vocalisms.

‘Vangakadal Yella’ seems to be a title song has the lyrical lines by Kabilan with Naveen and Malathi singing it.

‘Siragadikkum Nilavu’ is a romantic duet taken by Karthik and Rita with Sneghan on lyrics.

‘Thamizhan Veera Thamizhan’ is about realms of heroism with Rahul Nambiar taking it with a bold style [^] while Kabilan has penned some striking lines well-tailored for Vijay.

Finally, it’s a song ‘Naan Nadandhal Athiradi’ (typical style of ‘Naan Adicha’ from ‘Vettaikaran’) by Kabilan that again brings Naveen on tracks while Janani [^] Madhan is the co-singer.



Vijay’s much expected movie Sura’s audio is being released today by Sun Pictures. Ilayathalapathy Vijay’s Sura audio will be launched today evening at Lady Andal auditorium on Harrington Road in Chennai.

Vijay wants to make it a memorable evening as Sura is his 50th Golden Jubilee film which has music by his favourite Mani Sharma. The star has called all his heroines who have worked with him for this unique function.

Sura features Vijay and Tamannah in lead roles. The movie is being directed by S.P.Rajkumar and produced by Sangili Murugan. The movie distribution rights has been acquired by Sun Pictures.

It’s well known fact that Sun Pictures has decided to release Vijay’s Sura as a special treat for this summer vacation. Now we hear this from the closer sources that the film’s audio is likely to get launched on March 19.

Sura is expected to be a special film for Vijay fans as it happens to be his 50th film. Initially, producer Sangali Murugan started off this project and later Sun Pictures acquired rights over the film.

As of now, major portions of the film is said to be completed while Vijay is busy shooting for a song along with three hot models from Mumbai. According to the sources, the song is canned in the backdrops of grandiloquent sets in Anumondhai (near Pondicherry) at a cost Rs.45Lakhs. Mani Sharma has scored music for the film and it’s worth mentioning that his previous albums with Vijay have worked magic at audio markets.

Kollywood’s latest heartthrob Tamanna stars opposite Vijay in female lead while Magadheera fame Dev Gill takes on the role of baddie. S.P. Rajkumar has wielded megaphone for this film and handled story, screenplay and dialogues as well.



We know that Ilayathalapathy Vijay has signed a movie with Aascar Ravichandran, which will be the Vijay’s 51st film. Vijay’s next movie will direct by Jeyam Raja, will reportedly be called Thalapathi.

Thalapath was the title of the Rajinikanth-Mammootty blockbuster movie and released in 1991. Thalapathi movie produced by G.V.Films and directed by Mani Ratnam.

Sources say that the similarity ends with the title. While Thalapath movie dealt with the friendship between two gangsters and the new Vijay movie will be a family entertainer with loads of action. None other than Asin, it is being said, will star opposite Vijay.
