Velayudham Music Postponed
Even before the results of Tamil Nadu State Government Elections were released, Vijay and his father S.A. Chandrasekhar were keen of inviting AIADMK Leader Jayalalitha for launching the audio of ‘Velayudham’.
With Jayalalitha turning to be the top-drawer with the election results, it has turned out to be an impossible gesture for her to attend the event. Now the producers have decided to postpone the audio launch by next couple of weeks.
It is worth mentioning that Vijay and his father S.A. Chandrasekhar were amongst few bigshots, who instantly walked into the residence of Selvi Jayalalitha to congratulate her victory. ‘Velayudham’ is directed by Jeyam Raja and is produced by Aascar Ravichandran with Genelia D’ Souza and Hansika Motwani starring opposite Vijay in female lead roles. Vijay Anthony has scored music for the film and the first look teasers were aired on Jaya TV along with the election results.

Illayathapathy Vijay, lately who has been rumored to be entering in to politics has put up the though to rest and is involved completely in the shooting of Velayudham.
Vijay is shooting briskly for the movie with Genelia and Hansika Motwani which is said to be an inspiration of a Telugu movie Azad by Nagarjuna, which was released in the year 2000. Recently the movie has canned a love scene between Vijay and Hansika in the Chennai schedule inside sets.
Saranya Mohan is playing the role of Vijay’s sister in this Velayudham. The movie is expected to get released on June 22nd on the eve of Vijay’s birthday.
Director Jayam Raja is planning big for the climax and he is planning to erect his sentimental train set in Visakhapatnam.
The film is shaping under the banner of Aascar International of V.Ravichandran. Vijay Anthony is scoring the music for this film.
